To Men New England: March Journeyman Premieres to showcase
programs were great success. April 26 Leadership Gathering
was well attended with about 30 people. The energy is building and
some men stepped up to lead as part of the Source Team.
Mentor Training, May 31 - June 1 went well, they are now focused
on the Rites of Passage Adventure Weekend scheduled for Aug. 15

Initiate Passage & Mentorship had a wonderful Visioning
Retreat with 7 women and one man toward developing a mission statement
and understanding girls' needs. Some girls' pilot programs have
begun (Friends Rock! Girls Circle) and meeting with orgs for referrals.
March 2008
Rites of Passage Mentorship Drive premiering the documentary Journeyman
in Western Connecticut where Dr.
Michael Obsatz will be presenting; He co-produced the documentary
and wrote Raising Nonviolent Children in a Violent World.
And in Brattleboro, VT., Mark
Morey presented about rites of passage, mentoring and community. |
